Chloe Smith

I am a performance/ photography artist, I produce my images impulsively but with the intent to create high texture, I use my body within these images to create raw connections. Layering images of nature. My work is dark and dramatic, monochromatic with surrealism characteristics. The black and white colour palette encourage a dream- like state I paint marks on my body, creating this energy on my skin. effortlessly finding similar markings in nature, then editing the images on photoshop. I take images of my body from different perspectives; I aim to capture the curves and stretch marks of my flesh.
