Hyena the Hermit

Hyena The Hermit is an experimental analogue painter and conceptual arts practitioner whose primary focus is based in studying and responding to such subjects as: Post Christian liberalism, New age obscenity, Freudian sociology and Aristotelianism, all through the lens of being a LaVeyan Satanist. His practice is subsequently heavily influenced by studying theory, with varying degrees of outsider artistic influence also being present in his practical style.

With his practical style taking its greater visual notes from the depictions of saints and deities from the ancient lore of pagan and Abrahamic references alike with classical art history. Of which are then modernised to match the contemporary attitudes of the real-world commentary/ critique found in such uses for this iconography today.

With the bottom line of his work being to always create pieces that reimagine and bring relevancy to age old discussions no matter how taboo. With the underlining necessity to spark conversations that outwardly represent alternative culture as having its own importance in modern history to speak out against conformist and suppressive doctrines, especially within the potential of contemporary art practice.
d fashion and how this is portrayed through art and fashion design.
