Laura Foster

Laura Foster is a textile based artist in the
West Midlands. Her most recent work is titled 'Dark Nature' where she explores
nature taking over the human form through a collection of head pieces and
masks. Having a love for fashion she fuses this with art to create a range
of masks using a variety of materials like beads, studs, PVC and more
recently a 3D pen. She includes different forms of nature like thorns, water
and flowers which allows her to create
various textures. She draws inspiration from fashion designers Alexander
McQueen and Iris Van Herpen, who have clear links to nature and innovative
design, as well as life cycles and nature.
