Nikita True

Nikita True is a British artist working with a variety of processes and mediums such as textiles, sculpture and photography. Her most recent work focuses on the issues of donor conception, primarily anonymous sperm donation and the psychological impact this has on the individuals conceived. Being donor conceived herself, she is educated on the subject and aims to enlighten viewers, giving them access to her thoughts and feelings regarding this method of conception and the effect it has had on her identity during adolescence. Nikita's other areas of interest are psychoanalysis, dreams, genetics, the female body and motherhood.
